Michael Bloom is a producer/screenwriter based in New York. His producing work has included Working Summer (Raindance, Director’s Notes, Montclair, NoBudge 2024 Films of the Year), i’m really scared i’m dying tbh (Palm Springs, Rooftop Summer Series, Nitehawk FF audience award), Tate’s Parade (NoBudge). He’s currently in post-production on the narrative short Rare Birds (starring Zoe Ziegler & Tony Macht) and the feature documentary Living History .

Michael is also the co-founder of Modern Silent Short. Along side Lily Weisberg, he was helped produce 10 original silent short films for the initiative over the last 2 years. 

Michael's personal directing works include In The Middle of the Day, In The Middle of the Week and Our Town Episode 1, 2, & 3; all of which were made in collaboration with Aedan Roney.
